A Memorial Exhibited by John Fripp to be Registered in the Office of his Majesty's Auditor pursuant to the direction of an act of the General Assembly, in that case made & provided.
200 Of one tract of land containing two hundred acres lying & being on Edisto Island in St. Pauls Parish, Colleton County granted unto William McPherson as by a Grant dated the 14th day of January in the year of our Lord 1691(6) at the yearly rent of two shillings for the whole. Butting & Bounding to the East on Thomas Rake, to the West on lands not laid out, to the South on John Brays, to the North on lands not laid out lying by a Creekside, which said tract of land was conveyed unto the said John Fripp by an assignment on the Back of a Bill of Sale for the same signed by John Frip, Sr., dated the 26th day of March, One Thousand Seven Hundred & Seven -----------------------
270 Of one tract of land containing two hundred seventy acres lying & being on Edisto Island on the same parish & county, granted unto Wm McPherson as by a grant dated the twelfth day of May, 1699 at the yearly rent of two shillings & seven pence, for the whole. Butting & Bounding to the West of South Edisto River, to the South on land of said McPherson, to the East on a branch of Dahoe Creek, & to the North part on Dahoe Creek, and part on Walter Abbotts Cutoff, which said tract of land was conveyed unto the said John Fripp by an assignment on the back of a Bill of Sale for the same signed by John Fripp, Sr. dated the 26th day of March, 1707.------------------------
480 Of one tract of land containing four hundred & eighty acres being on St Helena Island and St Helena parish, Granville County granted unto John Coven the first day of February, 1706 at the yearly rent of one shilling per 100 acres. Butting & Bounding to the Northeast on Richard Reynolds, to the northwest on Reynolds Creek, on all other sides on lands not laid out, which said tract was conveyed unto the said John Fripp by a Deed of Sale signed by John Coven dated the seventh day of July, one thousand seven hundred twenty four. ----------------
500 Of one tract of land containing five hundred acres lying & being on St Helena Parish, Granville County & is part of Forty eight Thousand acres granted by a Patent to John Bailey Esq. the 1st day of August 1698 at the yearly rent of one shilling sterling per thousand acres Butting & Bounding to the North on Marsh & land not laid out, to the East on land not laid out, and part on an Inlet out of the Sea, to the South on the Sea Bay to the (Waling) Creek out of the Sea, which said tract of land was conveyed unto the said John Fripp by a Deed of Release signed by Alexander Trench, attorney for John Bailey, Son of the aforementioned (deceased) John Bailey, Esq., dated the thirty first day of January, one thousand seven hundred twenty eight, nine. ----------------------
