This is possibly the second son of David McKee Sr. mentioned in the 1747 will of John Edwards. David Sr. is thought to have married Sarah Fripp. See Notes for John Edwards.

This is possibly Mary Fripp, daur of John & Martha, b.1730.
According to WFT & TOMBEE (the diary of Thomas Chaplin) Mary married John Jenkins but other records found by Jackie Brooks suggest that Mary died in infancy.

It is possible that William and Rebecca are the parents of Paul Fripp, who married Jane Kugley.
Rebecca Margaret Linley (husband of Edgar Fripp & grandmother of Edgar Allen Fripp III) mentioned that her husband was visited by 'Aunt' Laura, who showed him documents tracing his lineage back to John Fripp the immigrant. She promised to pass the papers on to him, but they ended up with a Mrs. Barnwell, in Beaufort, after her death. Rebecca further stated that in the year 1900, Evelyn Fripp, niece and daughter by adoption of William Oliver Perry Fripp, had shown her the original Land Grant of 1662, left to her by her father, on heavy parchment with the seal of Charles II.

William arrived at South Carolina 13 September 1684 and received a warrant for 800 acres on St Helena Island. He later purchased property on Edisto Island and moved there.
