NOTE: This is a TEMPORARY WEBSITE ONLY, and is meant as a stopgap until the Main Website has been updated. Some of the notes are incomplete and many of the links will not work. There is still much data to add and conflicts to settle. This tree has been compiled with the help of many contributors. Sincere thanks to all, and apologies to those whose information has not yet been added.
I have tried to verify as much information as possible but errors may exist. Individuals with uncertain details have a (see notes) label attached to their name.
If photos exist, they will be found in the individual's Scrapbook. Click the "ScrapBook" link in the left menu for a list. Scrapbooks can only contain a limited amount of text so I am now adding more presentable feature pages containing notes, photos and links. These pages are shown to the right of their Scrapbooks, but are presently very few. NOTE: The Main Menu (Top Left) will not work when you are in a scrapbook. You will have to use your browser's BACK button to exit or use the "Exit Scrapbook" link below or here.
Details and photos of individuals labelled as living are automatically filtered out of the Tree, however a separate list is available here for living people who have permitted or asked for their details to be published.
If you do find errors, conflicts or would like to update your line please let me know. Webmaster

Henry's widow, Mary, could be the mother of Robert Fripp of Chettle, born about 1712, who married Betty Hiscock of Tollard Royal. Robert is shown as the baseborn son of a widow Fripp, Christened 6 Oct 1713, at Mere, Wiltshire (14 miles NW of Chettle). Henry Fripp died at Mere 17 December 1708 (or 7 October 1711).
Henry probably married Mary at or near Mere before 1690, although Mary could be a second wife. His daughter, Jane, was married 1701, so she must have been born before 1685. His other children were:
Henry Fripp (named in will)
William Fripp (named in will as a Tailor)
John Fripp - Chr. 4 Apr 1693 - Mere, Wiltshire (named in will)
Richard Fripp - Chr. 19 Jan 1695/6 - Mere, Wiltshire (named in will)
Edward Fripp (named in will)
Thomas Fripp - Chr. 15 Sep 1698 - Mere, Wiltshire (Son of Henry, Husbandman, and named in will)
Jane Fripp (named in will as wife of William Gray)
Mary Fripp - Chr. 21 Feb 1700/1 - Mere, Wiltshire
Mary Fripp - Chr. 20 Sep 1707 - Mere, Wiltshire
Harry Fripp - Chr. 17 Jan 1706/7 - Mere, Wiltshire
Hannah Fripp - Chr. 29 Mar 1710 - Mere, WiltshirePossible Christening of Henry Fripp (of Mere)
HENRY FRIPP
Christening: 02 FEB 1655 Ringwood, Hampshire
Father: RICHARD FRIPPPossible Christening of Grandfather of Henry Fripp (of Mere)
RICHARD FRIPP
Christening: About 1635, of Norton St Phillips, Somerset
Death: 17 NOV 1688
Father: EDWARD FRIPP
NOTE: The Richard who died at NSP in 1688 is thought to have been born about 1648 and married Jane Ivie in 1667. So this last entry is probably not connected, but perhaps another Richard was born about 1635 to another Edward.

William was left £5 in his father's will (dated 9 Dec 1708), in consideration of him taking on Thomas as apprentice, and teaching him his trade as a "Tayler".
Possibly married Mary, and had children at Westbury, Wiltshire (See Bristol Fripp tree)
Possibly married Elizabeth, and had a son named John at Bristol, 1713. (See Bristol Fripp family)
Thomas' brother, William, was left £5 in his father's will (dated 9 Dec 1708), in consideration of him taking on Thomas as apprentice, and teaching him his trade as a "Tayler".
If Henry died in 1709, Hannah (and possibly other children listed here) could be children of another Henry.

George Hibdige, born 17 Jun 1893, Maidments Mead, Sixpenny Handley, Cranborne, Dorset.
Father George Hibdige (Farm Labourer), Mother Jane Hibdige (nee sergeant)
Birth registered, 5 August 1893 Wimborne Sub District of Cranborne in Country of Dorset.George emigrated to Canada when he was about 19 years of age, to work as a farm worker, this would be about 1912. Then the first world war broke out and he enlisted with the Cameroon Highlanders of Canada at Winnepeg on the 26th November 1914. He served with the 43rd Canadian Battalion, service number 859393 rank Private. He served in France and Belgium and was involved in some major battles in Belgium which included service on the front line. He received shrapnel wounds to his back and left leg on the 26 Aug 1917, these wounds troubled him in the later life. He was demobilized on 24 Mar 1919 in Winnepeg.
He then emigrated to New Zealand sometime after this and ended up in Gisborne, on the East Coast of the North Island. He worked as a builder for some years, then in the Post and Telegraph Department as a Linesman until he retired about 1965.
He received the occasional letter from England but these came to an end as relations died off. His son can remember sending food parcels to relatives during the second world war.
